On September 19, we proudly celebrated the dedication of the High Family Nature Preserve—112 acres of protected land open for exploration and connection with nature. This momentous occasion honored the High Family’s enduring legacy of environmental stewardship and included gifts from the High Foundation, The Calvin and Janet High Family Foundation, Suzanne High, and Don and Lisa Clark.
Together, with other members of the High Family, we were honored to partner with the Lancaster Conservancy, whose leadership and expertise continue to enrich our region. As our benefactor S. Dale High reminds us: “We are on this earth for a purpose that is larger than our own self-interests, and we must strive to make the world a better place.”
